So, after going to AX and receiving lots of compliments on my outfit, I'm still in a conundrum.

I never heard anyone give me any critiquing, and as an artist by trade, that is what's most important. So hello everyone!

Here is the character.

And here is my cosplay!

Thanks for the help!

First of all, your costume is beautiful. I come from Fashion school, so I'll be nitpicky, but great job thus far.

First of all, tighten the string around your neck. The skulls are hanging too loosely.
Try heavier gauge not-so-big earrings. They are almost orange size, his are considerably smaller.
Pump up the color in the red paint to be more of a fire red or orange-red. His pops out, your's fades into your skin, if you get what I mean.
I'd use a different fabric, like muslin. Something with an edge, and not so bright. It seems too yellow. Using a fabric with a grainy texture and uneven color will help achieve the look.
Also try bulking up some more, you seem too small for the part.

You wanted critique lol. I hope this helps. Truthfully, I love the costume as in. However, if you want accurate, those are what I see wrong. Good luck.

Thank you very much! While I can do almost all of that, the skulls can't be put over me head past a certain width. Lol.

@Rai: LOL. Thank you! xD

You could try to have a closure in the middle of two skulls and paint it black to be completely invisible, that way you could make it smaller and detach it to get out of it.

Very nicely done. Honestly, but as everyone else has said, just bulk up a little bit and you'll be great at it. But I love it, i was actually talking to a friend of mine earlier about playing street fighter 4 at otakon too..hehe Now I have another reason to do it. Great job again and keep it up.

I had a bindi on, lol, but that day I forgot to put it on. Lol.
But the bindi wasn't red, only because there have been pictures with a white bindi's.

You, who happened to be the most epic cosplayer at the whole Capcom vs. SNK Gathering, is wanting critique? xD Geeeeeeeeeee~!

Anyways, there's not much that needs to be said on this that hasn't been said already~ Tighten the string on your skull-necklace a bit (where did you get those, by the way? I love them!) Smaller earrings, and bulken up a bit, and your cosplay is dead-on!

...Not that it wasn't already the most dead-on cosplay at the meet, but y'know~ (You're just amazing like that!)

Yup yup. I'll be doing those adjustements for my next two cons.

Animevegas (Maybe.)

And Mikomicon.

Bulking up may be more difficult, seeing as how I can barely gain weight as it is.

INCREDIBLY HIGH METABOLISM.
