So, for the last... 3 months a friend and I have been planning to go to this year's DTAC together, but since I'm booking the hotel and train, I'm wondering about something. Does anyone know when it actually is? I know it's only August, but I'm the kind of person who likes to plan as far ahead as possible.

We generally don't find out until late in the year; Hobbystar isn't very good at giving advance notice for things.

Keep an eye on this page and it should show up at some point in the fall.

Oh! Thanks Angathol. Hopefully they'll post up when it is soon (planning ahead is something I love to do)

It's usually 2 weekends before Christmas but the actually date is not released to late October.

Another place to check is the MTCC calender of events but December is still unbooked.

I was starting to wonder this as well XP we're probably doing Umineko no Naku Koro Ni... Beatrice, Battler, Kanon and maybe Ronove...

This is a one day convention right?

Saturday and Sunday but I only plan to go one day this year.

DTAC is usually one day. It's on a Sunday, I believe.

Right I'm thinking M-TAC ... >_<

I missed the last DTAC so I can't really remember. Was it just on Sunday? I do know it was only 1 day though.

ya it was just Sunday, I'm guessing it might be the 12th of this year seeing as its normally held on Sundays ((so Ive heard))

Isn't DTAC 2 days and MTAC one day? I will be going if DTAC is a Saturday and the weather is good.

DTAC is always one day, on the Sunday. Usually the first or 2nd Sunday of December.
MTAC is two days, Saturday and Sunday.

I usually don't mind missing DTAC since it was only 1 day and there was never anything semi special happening. Such as cosplay idol which i used to enjoy at MTAC. Now MTAC has dropped that even so I'm not even sure if I'll bother going there anymore either.

I just find DTAC a hang out and shop con. Seriously nothing else is going on! I can do that by going to a mall and then hanging out at my house. Soooo.......

If peoeple are planning photoshots then i would be more inclind to go (Didn't know about the Rozen Maiden on and could kick myself for not going with Laplace no Ma)

I also have a 2 of extra costumes I have yet to reveal, Jack and Clown Crown Allen that I'm not 100% keen on bringing to AN now that the weather is 5 to 10 dirges hotter during that weekend then it use to be.
