..about cosplay of course! =^_^=

It's basically a thread for anything you want to say about cosplay but there is no thread for it and can't be arsed to make one.

"Dang sewing all these ruffles together is hard, and this skirt is going to be HEAVY"

That's what on my mind about one of my costumes :)

I hate it when you sew a nice long seam perfectly the way you want it and then discover the bobbin ran out about 10 years ago. D:

I hate that so much!

...I hate the fact that no matter what sewing machine I use, the bobbin is fine for the most part, and then starts screwing up when I need it most for bigger parts of the costume. D:. AND THEN WHEN SOMEONE ELSE USES THE MACHINE AFTER ME IT WORKS FIIINNNEE.

I'm also thinking that I really wanna start on some more costumes over break...

I did that about two days ago...I think I died a little on the inside :( I feel your pain.

My random thought? I really should stop thinking of costume ideas when I already have a very full and very unfinished line-up already. It's because of you people, I tells ya! I keep seeing threads for group meetings and I think "Hey, I could totally make such-and-such character!" But really...I can't.

in my country you get a free entre ticket one day of the main convention. I work on my cosplays very hard, and sadly I have to see how people that are just wearing PLAIN NORMAL black clothes and some make up recieve the same regard I do.

that really makes me mad because somebody who has spent hours working on their's gets less credit than somebody who knows nothing about cosplay and went out and bought the damn costume.

right now i'm feeling quite envious of a lot of people's pretty costumes.. and i really want to work on mine, but i can't till i pay for my room at MTAC, but then i'll get to work on it... yeah.. and i want to be a great cosplayer too!! and i'm wondering if i'm going to look extremely weird in my Lilika wig.. she has longer, about shoulder to shoulder blade length hair.. and mine is a few inches.. o.o

I wouldn't worry. Cons and cosplay is all about having fun really. Just do your best at making your costume, and remember to enjoy yourself at the con. If you do that, you'll have nothing to regret! :)

REALLYYY need to finish a commission. And need to start working on Aeris. Why is exam week kicking my arse and not allowing me a sufficient amount of "happy time" to sew?

"omgomgomg...I don't have time to finish all these costumes before Ohayocon...omgomgomg"

"5 layers of ruffles = not my friend, and now it's heavy and I need carpeting thread to sew it to the skirt"

and I can't decide if I want to do a sweet lolita dress and make a matching one for my dolly or not.....

"Why!!!! does work need things sewn now? It's finals week, and my computer is dead and I don't have my reference picture gallery and PANICFLAILDEATH."

stoopid pin just stuck itself in my foot.
