Evokers?

  • What's my best bet for making one? Try and go rom scratch, modify something else, or what?

  • Go from scratch.
This tutorial is what I used, except I used carboard rather then foam, and gesso rather tehn spackeling paste.

Hope this helps. If you wanna go my route and use carboard (you name make it more stiff) then paper mache eachsection like this:
    Make the base
    mache
make ALL the parts that get glued on but DO NOT GLUE
    mache EVERYTHING separate
    then glue it all on..
    then gesso
    then sand and paint.
It will look ten times better but that's only for the cardboard version..I mention this version because cardboard is free....

  • I'm going to be selling casts of mine soon, if you're interested. I'm just trying to figure out pricing and also get a nice cleaned up painted one for promotional pictures.

Master is on top, cast is on the bottom.

  • For making your own, I made my masters out of MDF wood sheets. It was relatively easy with nothing more than some dremel tools, bondo, and sandpaper, and if you have access to any decent woodworking tools it should be even faster.

  • Here's a couple painted ones I did:
