I'm just wondering if anyone is cosplaying at your next convention as one of the characters from Metal Gear Solid (any series).

#2 Zeruda on 14 years ago

its not for my next convention, but I'm working on a Sniper Wolf costume ^_^

^^ I've done Solid Snake. It's on my website. I'm wearing him at A-Kon. For a girl, I think I did a damn good job, but alas, I lack ze' facial hair.

BTW, Mango. I love your avatar! <3 Willow.

I want to do a Ninja cosplay sometime.

I'm working on a uniform of one of the 'spetsnaz' soldiers from Metal Gear Solid 2. I have the correct camo, boots, and helmet; main thing I'm missing is the load bearing equipment (currently mix and matching spare equipment to get an approximation), and the facemask (did a shoddy modifying job to get something that kinda works). Oh, and a prop weapon, but that's not too important since the one I'm eyeing probably wouldn't be allowed at most places anyhow.

Still wating for a few remaining items to be shipped over to my house.

A month or two ago I saw a balaclava that made me go "Wow, that looks just like the one in MGS2," So I know it's out there. Probably should include "china silk" in your search.

Make an exclamation point to stick over your head!

#8 Negotiator on 14 years ago

Better yet, make and bring a flashbang. You'd win an award for sure. Hehehehhh....

#9 Archelon on 14 years ago

If the judges can even see you to give you the award afterwards. Though actually that's a good idea considering they wouldn't be able to see any of the other people after you, so you'd automatically win an award.

And hey, "Best Costume," "Criminal Misdemeanor," an award's an award!

I just went as solid snake to Anime Boston...not very accurate, but gets the point across ^_^ there's an amazing Solid Snake costumer on cosplay lab, i forget their name though and I'm too lazy to go find it, but just do a search there and there's some really good results

can't wait for MGS3 ^_^

MGS3 is going to be absolutely amazing. I wonder what's up with the Raiden lookalike, Kuwabara.

I love your user name, Jack's Username. That is really witty. xD

What Solid Snake was it?

always been wanting to do a psycho mantis. If i would, I'd be shaving my head. I've seen a few mantis' that don't look good because they made a fabric bald cap.
