So I'm new to cosplaying. Very new. In fact, I'm making my first one now of Erza Scarlet's flight armor, and I'm really happy with how its turning out so far.
However:
I'm having a lot of trouble with making her breastplate, and other armor pieces. The tail, collar, shorts, sash and belt are all completed, but the actual armor is driving me insane. I want to cover all of the pieces in actual fabric , and figured I'd use craft foam for the base and the silver detailing. My problem is that I can't figure out how to use the fabric on the craft foam, and how I would pattern it to align the silver details. I've been searhinf the internet for days and can't quite find a solution, so I'm turning here as a last resort. Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or tutorials I could use? Very much appreciated.
