Making a straight wig into a bouffant

A straight wig wouldn't be best for this. Infact, arda has a tutorial using one of their bigger wigs!

To do this with a basic straight wig you're going to need to deconstruct the wig, buy additional wefts, build foam core bases for each shape and carefully lay the hair over it.
This is a good example

Honestly, the arda wig method would be the easiest.

Take it from me, someone who'd only styled a wig once before doing Wicke (and badly); it's not as hard as it seems. I followed the Arda tutorial (deviating a bit when I wanted a slightly different look) and it was mostly very simple, just repetitive. It was made much easier by starting with the already-huge wig they recommend.
