Cosplans for AN2017? Debating whether or not your attending? Just want to talk about the con? Me too.

Anime North's forum, the Teahouse of the Maple Moon is open. You might find more people willing to discuss random stuff related to the con there. :)

It's funny it used to be more active here, now it's sorta dead. I think the AN forum is merrier.

Hoping to grod that it's not even remotely as hot as last year was. Last year just plain sucked for me because of the heat.

Yep.... Last year I got heat stroke....

Waiting on confirmations for the Cosplay panels is brutal. Haven't been able to schedule half my photoshoots due to waiting on these. Odd, since the gaming panels, with less panelists, were approved and given times no problem.

Anyone else hoping the dealer's room is better organized rather than having to wander down the dark alley into the entrance like last year? I got so fed up after I came out of the Nomi on Friday that I made a volunteer walk me to the entrance.
Yep.... Last year I got heat stroke....
Heat rash on my lower legs from my Tali'Zorah boots/neoprene cooling wraps I wore under them on Saturday, here. That wrecked most of my sunday; missed almost all morning's plans in the search for calamine lotion to soothe the itching, then in the evening, I couldn't go hot tubbing and broke the four-year post-con tradition.

well, Tali comes back this year. If it's under 30 degrees, I think I'll live this time. :P

*Raises hand*
Also, exiting the dealer's room has gotten frustrating in the past couple years. (Overcrowded much?)

Very overcrowded. And too squishy...

Last year I found only one area overcrowded, the aisle along the exit/entrance side was too narrow. I think however that may not have been a planning error but an execution one due to excess space on the other side.

You want frustrating, how about their guest handling...

Also, yeah, let's hope to everything holy that the weather's good and the brutal heat doesn't return. I want it to be one of those elusive just-right years. Last year I barely had any energy a few hours into Saturday, and one of the two friends who attended with me had to go home early due to heatstroke on Friday... And if it's cold and/or rainy, that's just as bad... ;w;

I would dig for weather to be 15-18 one day and 23-25 another (but not humid and with a breeze). Weather for all!

So far it's looking 15ish... works for me!
