Too hard to put this in title. I am attempting to cosplay a steampunk version of Alice in wonderland's Caterpillar. I plan on doing a skirt and corset, so I planned on styling a blue wig in the boufont style.

I have scoured the net looking for a caterpillar blue wig without bangs (preferably curly) that I could style and I haven't found anything yet. So I'm asking for your expertise!

Potential wig

Do you guys know anything about this seller?

I look forward to your replys.

If you're buying on Amazon you're in better hands than you'd be from buying from eBay. I don't know much about that specific seller but I have had luck on Amazon overall.
As for other wig suggestions, Arda does have wigs for a similar price/style, but again if you want the Amazon wig I say go for it.
If I can suggest others, the Diana in Baby Blue from Arda would look perfect with steampunk, but it's a shorter verion of the wig you have in mind and it does have bangs.

Thanks for your advice! I cannot seem to find the Diana wig. Could you please supply a direct link?

Whoops, my bad the one I meant to say was the Jane from Arda: https://www.arda-wigs.com/collections/wig-shop/products/jane-classic
I mistook the name because the two wigs are similar :walkoff:
The Diana is from Epic: https://www.epiccosplay.com/shop-by-wig-style/short-wigs/diana/

The matilda in aqua is pretty much the same wig, but you'll at least know you're getting a quality and thick wig

Personally I think the nicki, with the curls combed to not be so tight, would be amazing in a bofaunt/hime style

I can vouch for the Nicki being good for styling, I used it for Wicke and having a wig already be so big and poofy was a great help. You can definitely straighten out any curls you don't want, too.

Thanks a ton, guys!
Zoey, those are very cute! If I don't use them for this, I'm sure I'll have a use in the future. ^^

Digit, I don't know how I missed the Matilda! ^^;

As for the Nicki, wouldn't bangs be too short to pull into the boufont? I admit, I've never done this style before.

which style of bouffant are you going for? It might be best to leave the bangs depending on style (which isnt an uncommon feature depending on decade)

If youre going all 1500s (victorian era wasnt super big hair) this tutorial might help
