Fiber glass putty

Had a thought last night but wondered if anyone more experienced in this type of thing can confirm.

Planning on doing an Ash Williams/Necronomicon Mandolrian.

I want to mix up a decent amount of the fiberglass putty and pour it over the top of the helmet and create the face of the book there.

i want it so the putty drips over the visor area as well.

My question is, would this stuff put off the look of skin?

If its anything like bondo, it wont drip or smear the way you're wanting. I'd honestly make the base helmet, and then go over it with either liquid latex or silicone, which will have the right texture you need
