cosplaying non-fit characters?

Yes I know this is the fitness forum, and I see thread after thread on how to lose weight to look good doing all of those amazingly fit characters.

But I thought this interview with David Harbour was fascinating, especially the part where he discusses the relationship between an actor's ego, "body neurosis" (as he calls it), "owning your instrument" (as he calls the actor's body), "people wanting to see ordinary people onscreen" and other related topics.

He's an extraordinarily thoughtful and articulate person as you can see.

As I approached cosplaying his character in Stranger Things it was liberating in a way to not worry about my weight, not worry about my body.
