Contact Recommendations?

This thread is archived.

  • Hello! I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for good brands of contact lenses? I had some good green ones but I lost them and need some for Starfire! Thank youuu!! :D

  • Okay so there's this website called Honeycolor.com that I've ordered through a few times and I really like them! They take a little bit to ship, so if you're in urgent need of a pair I would recommend giving yourself some time to let the order go through! They do provide express shipping for just a dollar more than regular shipping, so I would recommend that as well!

As far as super theatrical lenses, I think checking out some options online would be a good way to go.

    Hope this helps!

  • There are a ton of places online that sell color lenses. I find ACLENS.com to be very reputable. My eye doctor recommended the Orion Vision brand. If anybody offers to sell you some shipped to the U.S. without a prescription, even online, you should not buy them. If they're cutting corners to get around federal law, you never know what other corners they could be cutting in production. If you need corrective lenses, I would call any source first and see how they treat you and answer your questions on the phone. If there is a problem, you want to make sure they have good customer service. Don't rely on online customer support. Some of them are outsourced and they are terrible. They don't care about your business or the health of your eyes. You want to speak with someone who cares about the business' reputation.

  • It's a bit hard to give specific lens recommendations as you don't specify your natural eye color and if you need prescription lenses or not. ^^" Universally popular brands are Geo and EOS, to name a few. But depending on what type of circle lenses you prefer (big, small, vibrant, costume-y etc) for your cosplay you might want to check other brands as well. I.Fairy usually has bright and big lenses that look good for cosplay.

One of my favorite lens shops (that I've bought from for years) is LensVillage, mainly because of the good customer service, safe lenses and because you get free international shipping by buying 2 pairs or more! Shipping costs are a huge deal for me and I always try to get free shipping if possible, haha. If you decide to buy from LensVillage feel free to use my discount code SAMURAI15 to get 15% off your purchase. ^_^

I sadly don't know the character (otherwise I'd give you direct lens recommendations) but I'd recommend you take a look at my circle lens reviews (I've reviewed a lot of green lenses!) here and see if there's anything there that you like the look of. :)
