And if you have links to their websites/portfolios that would be nice.

My criteria for favorite cosplay photographer are the same for favorite cosplayer; the one who cares.

A cosplay photographer who is a passionate fan of Anime, Manga, and Videogames definitely increases my respect for them.

One of my favorites I've actually worked with is Cliff Nordman. He's probably better known here as SvK, but here's his website as well: http://cliffnordman.com/

He was so easy to work with and did some beautiful pictures of my friends and I. I would definitely tell others to try to get a few shots with him if they were at a con he attends.

There are a lot of good photographers that do and don't post here on the forums. Everybody does their best imo so selecting favorites is almost like saying "who's your favorite cosplayer?"

However, the few photographers that I trust are:

Lionboogy
Sky Pirate
Sleepy
Jerry
Anna Fischer
Elemental
Nemo Valkyrja
(the late) Mike Schweizer of conpix.net

I've been burned by a lot of photographers who I may or may not know, or have been friends with them who've in-turn back-stabbed me, so trusting other photographers is tough for me.

Sky Pirate has been good to work with.

And you also have always made it fun when I've worked with you in the past. I've missed seeing you in the last few years. I would love to have pictures taken by you again.

Another one that I enjoyed working with for the first time this year isn't known, he's just starting out, but he goes by pumabear here, and though he doesn't have any photos of his work on cosplay.com I have some he did of my Yuuko costume and of my friend and I in our Victorian and Fall gowns. For someone just starting out, I think he's got a lot of potential.

Awww, I love you too(lol). I am not sure I would call myself a cosplay photographer as I have not do a whole lot of it but one day, when I get some time and can meet the right people I would like to do more with interesting ideas that I have in my head.

Mike is an amazing photographer for how creative he is. He uses 3 lens(8mm fisheye, 30mm Sigma, and 70-200mm) on 3 bodies but usually uses only 1 light and that is a simple 580ex with A Better Bounce that he made on it. At AX I was with him when he did some shooting and I must say, his creativity and vision of the shots was pure awesome. He did most if not all his processing that I know of on an iPad, thus proving that the best tool is in your kit is your mind's eye.

Here is a shot that I did not see anyone else do and it was in plain sight that it happened.

Here is the link to his dA ---> http://mikerollerson.deviantart.com/

Definably on my top 3 for sure.
