For now, go to thehylia.com and look through here. Midna's got to be in there somewhere! XD

Oh sweet! This thread's awesome with all the helpful links, PZ ^^. Thanks very much for taking the time to build a new one, and with so many helpful links. I think I had read somewhere that you were also building references but do you know if we can add in a post for links to art or references? Surely people can look around but just a thought. Very nice job and I too am looking forward to seeing this thread become the new standard.

If I could find you I'd smother you with love right now XD
Most of the pictures of her I already had/seen. BUT THERE WAS ONE. One that I already had but it was alot bigger and clearer and fortunately it showed the part I was having problems with!
Congrats for your first satisfied customer with this new thread haha XD

All right, I'm currently digging through the 'cosplay' folder on my bookmarks, and I've never been so glad for the folders in my bookmarks-I have too many favorites for my own good. Anywho, on with some links (no, not Link)!

a couple boot tutorials (not specifically for zelda costumes, but can be used for ideas):
http://www.strangelandcostumes.com/tips-boot.html
http://sithcamaro.com/boottut/index.htm

a general tutorial list (the one i mentioned earlier) that, although it is centric to specific anime items, there are some general tutorials:
http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=84955

how to add wefts to wigs (i searched for so long to find this one :) )
http://hemuloki-sama.livejournal.com/31997.html#cutid1

i think you might already have this one:
http://amethyst-angel.com/cosplay/tutorials.html

homemade dye recipe:
http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=57484

this is just helpful for makeup and such (VERY useful on finding suppliers as well):

And that looks like all I have now. I used to have more links, but I lost a lot of my bookmarks when my computer went wonky awhile back (it was weird-all i lost was bookmarks)

Thank you as well on this. I was wondering, would a leather tutorial of how to shape, carve, etch, stamp, stich, dye, stain, cut, weather, glue, and rivet be helpful? I have a ton of time on my hands and I could gladly write on up.

OMG! Thanks Gowa-chan! I actually knew about that wig tutorial, but I didn't save the link or LJ T_T But yay! I have it updated!

And yes, Amethyst Angel is already on the list several times ^_^

Wow..thanks for taking the initiative and organizing this PZ! It's very nice of you to sift through all the threads and organize them all in one area!
Kudos!

I'm a little late to see this but wow, it looks great~! I'm glad it's all organised now. these tutorials look to be incredibly helpful to everyone~!
Thanks for all this! ^_^

Congrats on the new thread! It looks great. :) *was a lurker in the old thread*

I know of a fursuiting/mascot site if you want another link for that subject, but it's in my bookmarks at home. ^^;

P_Z, you rock..

This is the most comprehensive list for tutorials i've ever seen.... anywhere.

With something like this... I was thinking, perhaps it might actually be better to sticky this at the top of the page? Thus making it a permanent/ official catalog for useful cosplay methods? Then dedicated the remainder of the thread to new finds and tips.

I'm glad to see a new thread borne out of the last, but perhaps would it be even more practical to simply separate the two?
One, the (stickied) tutorial thread,
and then Two... a Zelda specific cosplay thread... first post having a link to the tutorial page.

I wish I had thought of this earlier, but the thought only came to mind as i realized this thread would continue to grow and become it's own new Zelda thread. Losing the Simplicity of having a dedicated, general-tutorial thread on its own.

Just throwing it out there... Sorry i'm kinda late putting my imput in P_Z.

Otherwise, excellent work. Cheers to new beginnings.. :)

Great job Princess_Zelda! Thank you very much for the new zelda thread! :) I should have some nice pictures up by the end of the day of my improved kokiri tunic. I will look more closely at the tutorials soon, I like how there is a novice category since I am still basically new ^_^ I can't wait to have a read!

(P.S.) Here is my illustrator progress. Now including Master Sword progress.
Does anyone (off the top of their heads) know of any tutorials for making CAD compatible files?
