Did you take pictures?! MUAH!

#34 MeoWmiXX on 14 years ago

Sure thing. And Arc, im sure you made a very uhh elegant Heather >.O

#35 Arc_The_Lad on 14 years ago

I did, the only differences were:

1. Instead of orage armbands I just wore a orange T-shirt
2. I wore green shorts instead of a skirt.
3. I didn't have tall boots, but I had boots none the less.

the name would be Heath (like Heath Ledger), instead of Heather.

GAH!!! DAMN YOU! 9.8 STARS! SO CLOSE!
When I made Maria's skirt, I had two pieces of fabric, with the seams up the sides... and a zipper in the back. I don't think that's how hers was in the game, but it was the easiest way go about making it with the material I found. :D The skirt isn't that hard to make I don't think... just finding the perfect material is. >_<!
No doubt. The only fabric I've found, thus far, had been a slightly flocked pink leopard. I figured a stretchier fabric would work well for it. I did find some wet-looking type on Ebay but let it slip away before I bid on it T.T
I think I'm going to wait and check some other fabric stores in the meantime. Going to do this for SugoiCon, a small convention up in Covington, Kentucky.

Wow, I just picked up Silent Hill a few days ago. It's freaking me out despite it's dated looks, and I never realized exactly how much Jacob's Ladder influenced the series until now.

I also found out that if I buy a pocket flashlight and a black button-down or very wide v-neced shirt, I have a pretty decent Harry Mason costume on my hands. I already have:

Brown Doc Martin shoes (I think they were brown, but it really doesn't matter too much)
Jeans (Duh)
Black Belt
Brown Hair ;)
White T-Shirt
A Courduroy Jacket (not the same style as his jacket, but close enough and exactly the right color)
A (broken) KWC Colt Double Eagle-modeled airsoft gun. It doesn't look much like Harry's gun in the game, but that's a fictional gun anyway.

I'm just lucky, I guess. :D

Hehe! Jacob's Ladder was the /freakiest/ movie!
That said, I've been meaning to buy a copy of the original Silent Hill. I'd like to do an Alessa cosplay at some point, since I have the dark hair for it :)

i'm planning to make a maria costume for oni-con. i know she has pink streaks at the bottom of her short blonde hair. my hair is long and dark, and there's no way i'm going to cut it short and bleach it. is it ok to use either some pink color spray on a wig, or should i use a pink manic panic color? or even just art paint?
