I never attended this con before, but I'm a bit curious, so if things go well, I'll be going. Not sure who to cosplay yet though. :)

So excited for D-TAC :)
Last year was my first year going and I had a blast. Though, I do wish I tried to socialize more ^_^" I was so shy~
Looking forward to this year, and to meeting new friends :)

After Fanexpo ends, DTAC serves as a reminder of the year coming to an end and being the last con I can attend (since I can't go to a state con like AWA and Youmacon which is just 1 to 3 months respectively after Fanexpo)

Too bad the premium slipped away from my grasp again, now hobbystar has to steal another $10 from me, even though I'm buying squat.

if you don't go into the dealers area you don't have to pay... we were there for 5 hours before we decided to pay and go in...

I go to just hang out with friends and to see the awesome cosplays, I never go into the dealers room!
This year I'll be going as Nami (One Piece) in her Drum/Winter Island outfit, which considering the weather, is probably a good call :P

true, unless security does that wristband checking again. They don't check everyone, but why take the risk of getting caught. I'll admit during previous DTACs I've been too eager to buy the ticket to get inside just to see what they have (I might not hay ve bought anything, but any items that sparked my interest I wrote it down for further research) and potentially good cosplayers could stay inside for a long period, unable to get a shot of them if I had no access. I'll try and stay outside this year for as long as possible, until I have to purchase a ticket.

they've never given out wristbands for DTAC... its just a hand stamp... if they start kicking people out for not having one this year, they will find most people don't have one, I know a LOT of people don't... so if they kick us out, we'll all go find somewhere else to hang out...

@Lightning Baron: me toooo, I wanna visit New York! >_< But Youmacon is the more practical option and I think more people I know are going there.

@cloudy: Uhuhu, if I do end up making Sheryl, you're welcome to be Ranka ;P

@naomi_censored: I am totally clueless right now as how I would get to Detroit. I'm not even sure I can go yet until I know my course schedules D': If I'm lucky, someone I know might be driving there, if not, I guess I'd bus if schedules aren't too bad :')

New York I great to visit on your own without try to see the city during a convention. I'd love to go during Halloween one year. (been there twice for long weekends)

I'll probably rewear my Ciel cosplay from season 2, with my friends as Alois and Pluto : )
I had to miss DTAC last year due to terrible weather, so this year's just gonna have to be extra awesome lol

I haven't been to D-Tac for about 2 years. I might go this year to get some xmas shopping done for some anime-loving friends. I plan on cosplaying as Korra from the new Avatar show in her winter coat outfit.

I'll be there as I have for the past 2 years. It's always so much fun!
I'll be with a bass ass Adventure time group. XD
