I won't know until sometime near the end of this week how the 7th looks for me (schedule for that week at work is currently in progress, lol), I'd LOVE to do shots in the Arboretum though. Not even sure what I'd wear, but still. I'll post again when I know for sure though!!

As soon as we get a time organized/finalized I'll sent out a email to my guelph cosplayers friends and see if they want to come too.

So did we decided on the photoshoot/picnic in the arboretum, right?

No worries! If you can come, that's teriffic, but if you end up having to work or something, there will be another Guelph meetup for sure if I have anything to say about it!

I'd say we did. This time can be a photoshoot/picnic in the arboretum, and we can do something different next time if people are interested. ^_^

The 7th is pretty open for me, so the time depends on you guys (and anyone else who wants to join). What about maybe 1pm or so? That way people can sleep in if they want, and then either eat lunch before they arrive, or bring something to picnic with if they want to. ^_^

I have spread the word :P

I've started a new thread specifically for the Arboretum Meetup: http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?p=1946784

If you're interested at all, please join us in that thread. Details are not finalized, so if other times work better for more people we can work it out. ^_^

That way, this thread can just stick to being a general "finding local cosplayers" thread. ^_^

OO~H! Me, me! I'm a cosplayer in Guelph. o_o
But I feel really young compared to you, me being 12 and all.
Eep.
I'm open to any Guelph Photo stuff, cause Guelph has all this greenery and stuff for AWESOME photos. And a bunch of artisitic stuff.
Like the outdoor Art gallery thing...near the second cup?

Actually if we got creative enough to get out just outside the city we could go to my barn. We have fun stuff there like open fields, woods, ponds, and animals - including a horse that has dealt with cosplay stuff :P

Hey

I live in Cambridge myself, and work in Guelph.
I'd be up for meeting people from this area, any weekend is fine with me.

I don't really have a cosplay that I would have ready at the moment, but I should be able to pull off something.

'til next time
I had joined FLASH while I was going to UoG, but at the time I was so busy with school and working to pay for school that I don't think I ever had time to go to a single event they had! o_0
I went to Gryphcon last year, though, and had a good time, though it was non-cosplaying.
Then I moved to London, and in the meantime, every single person I knew from UoG left town. Then I moved back here for work, and so I didn't know anyone again, but I saw lots of cosplayers come out of the woodwork in London right after I left. :P

I tend to be pretty shy still, so I sometimes have a hard time making new friends, so I figured I should be a little more proactive in finding some local people with similar interests to me. My coworkers all think dressing up is kinda stupid, so I had no luck there.
Now I sound like a giant loser. :p
[B][I]¡¿ What´s Gryphcon ?!
A con at UofG?
is it still held? Do you know? Do you know?

¡¡ o.o !!

I live in Waterloo for the next four days, then I'm moving to North Bay. But I will be back once school's over.
