Post your plans/ideas for future cosplays for Anime Boston here!

My friends and I are thinking about doing our first group cosplay next year at AB! There's only three of us, and only one of us has ever cosplayed before, but we're wicked psyched!

It'll be the first time I've ever cosplayed, and I'm so excited!

Cosplay groups can be fun. I know I feel less shy about being in character with my friends, so it can be very entertaining.
For me: Definitely will be doing Belarus from Hetalia again (I had way more fun cosplaying her than I thought I would).
I'm almost certain I will be doing Touko Amano from Bungaku Shoujo. Have to almost redo the whole cosplay, though.
My third cosplay is not entirely certain yet. Could be doing Popuri from Harvest Moon: Back To Nature. If my friends decided to to K-ON, I will be doing Ritsu.
Of course, I could get lazy and decide to just do Seychelles from Hetalia or Sunako Nakahara from The Wallflower (since they are some of my finished, easy cosplays).
As the con gets closer, things will be more definite.

As of right not my tentative plans are to bring these along.
Yoko Kurama - Yu Yu Hakusho (he fits the theme pretty well too)
OC Pokemon Conquest Warrior with partner Pikachu (the pikachu is going to be my baby who will be about 5 months old by AB)

God only knows what will change between now and then and of course there is always the looming question of "What are the cosplay event staffers going to make me od this year?" XD

I'll be bringing back Vash from last year along with Spike Spiegel and, if I'm lucky, Colonel Roy Mustang. If I can't get the coat for Mustang, I'll either go as Greeling or Link.

This'll be my first time cosplaying at AB I thinking either Engand or Switzerland from Hetalia

I think I saw only two Switzerlands this past year. My friend was sad, as she was doing Liechtenstein. Whichever you do will be awesome!

You should do Switzerland since there's likely to be quite a few more Englands.

I'll be moving to Boston this September for school, bringing my Ezio costume with me! I know I probably won't have time to make a whole new costume this year, so I'm just tweaking an old one from Fanime.

For those of you who have gone before, I was hoping I could ask about peace bonding. The weapons policy seems pretty strict. I made hidden blades out of paper - not very tough, but they are spring-loaded with rubber bands. After showing them to con ops, I was allowed to wear them at Fanime, but would they be acceptable at Anime Boston?

I'm probably going to do an Accel World cosplay, a cosplay from one of the shows my Anime club watches this year (preferably in a group,) and maybe a Doctor Who cosplay. I am, however, thinking of a Yurine cosplay. With the theme being Yokai for next year there will be a lot of Yokai's arround, so we'll need a Karas or two to protect them. ;)

Hopefully if I can go, I'll be going as Toothless - (HTTYD) as a quadsuit. However If He isn't done by then I'll be sporting my trance Kuja again.

Would you mind if I pretended to ride you for a photo?

So awesome! I've seen pictures of Toothless quadsuits but have yet to see one in person. I hope you are able to finish it in time! I adore Toothless!

I would be very sceptical of your blades being allowed. It's the spring-loading that does it- they don't like projectiles at all at AB. You can always go on the con forums and ask for a staff member's definitive opinion, though, which I would recommend.

As for myself?
I've got a number of cosplays on my plate.
Mutou Yuugi and Malik Ishtar from YuGiOh, and I'll have a Yami Yuugi and Yami Bakura with me respectively.
Also Issun-boshi from Okami, with an Ammy gijinka.
And Professor Raine Sage in her Glam Beauty costume, from Tales Of Symphonia, with a noble Symphonia group at the formal dance.
