I wouldlike to make a suggestion, for a special movie feature to show at any and all Costume-Cons. Its called: "THE RUSSIAN ARK"

Its a 90 minute unbroken, traveling shot through the Hermitage in St. Petersburgh. You start with a scene in the 1880's, and as you enter, and go through, you are transported through various scenes from the creation of the Hermitage int he days of Ivan the Great, to just before the Russian Revolution in 1917.

Its well worth seeing, even if it is subtitled.

Ooh! I've seen that. Very cool movie with great costumes, yes. It inspired me to do several Russian costumes.

I bought it on Amazon.com, and that, along with Sky Captain and The Wizard of Speed and Time, are a few I call my "inspiration" videos.

Interesting suggestion. Might be interesting to work into a historical costuming track some how. Thanks.
