ever hence the update i got back into this series, but now i have a solid intrest in it. this thread is for talking about anything related to One Piece.

right now in the anime is where luffy is in a cave on skypia and zolo is eating lunch while interupted by a giant south bird. so no spoilers please.

You are, quite literally, 5 years behind. Expect to be spoiled.

I kind of wish the war on marine headquarters was handled differently than in the manga. Seems like one of those things that could really be amazing if they used a drastically different tone. I really wanted a saving private ryan style endevour, felt like a real waste when it was done.

Its one of those series where I watch like 30 eps, and then get tired and stop,... and then a year later I watch another batch. Well i used to anyways, i've really fallen behind. I got to the Post-Enies Lobby Arc and then quit. I'll need to watch a whole bunch again.

You too? I used to be a HUGE fan. I read scanlations up until LITERALLY Frankie's debut where he has the 2 women with him and makes a big production out of it posing with the stars on his forearms. Then I left it be because it was serialized and bought over by 4kids I used to eat a rather fatty breakfast and watch it Saturday mornings on Fox.

i used to get shonen jump and thats how i read the magna, the 4kids dub on fox had been long sense gone. now that im getting back into it i started over from the begining and i like the 4kids dub opening more than the funiation dub. from what i saw so far buggy the clown is a decent guy just don't talk about his nose and you will be fine.

when i was reading the magna in shonen jump i read the don krieg "arc" to death, so when i got to it in the anime i was alittle weary of watching it but it turned out to be a little different than the magna so it was bearable. now the arlong/fishman arc is another story i think i overwatched it back when it was aring on tv but maybe it was becase of the magna too. so i skipped over it.

when i first saw frankie (i have not gotten that far yet exactly) he reminded me of popeye with the big arms and all. i allways wondered what would happen if you swaped out his cola power supply with diet cola.

now im up to episode 210 at least they dubed close to the end of an arc, but im also watching from the begining and im on episode 50
