• I'm just wondering if there are any DW cosplayers out there (I know there are, just not sure if they're on cosplay.com). 8D

I may cosplay the 4th at one point.:sunburn:

  • I wanna see someone cosplay a Dalek XP that'd be fun.

I've considered doing a Tom Baker cosplay and have seen someone do Tom at Acen every year.

There was also someone who had a R/C K9 at a-kon last weekend.

  • i dunno if theres anyone i'd acually cosplay (least none yet) but i've thought about making tom baker's insanely looong scarf XD just to wear it for fun lawlz.

  • Learn to knit...

    Start knitting...

    Keep knitting...

Seriously, it'd be a lot of knitting. Don't really know any other way to do it.

    Berz.

Very cool. I think I saw pics of that person, because I remember seeing a K9 prop with him.

  • As for the scarf...I'm getting one off ebay for my birthday. ^^; Ehehehe...I can't knit.

Make your own Doctor Who scarf. ;) There were several version between season 12 and 18 so pick a pattern and start cracking. ;)

I was costumed as a member of the High Council with friends for the Dr Who anniversary several years ago. I also made a quick Omega costume for a one day con.

A few friends of mine have made daleks. Here is the latest one by Wookiemart.

I'll upload a few more pictures when I have a moment. Honestly I didn't think many people here would be interested in non anime costumes.

I uploaded a few older pictures in my gallery. I might upload more if I have the time to scan them. Old and sad stuff, but should be good for a chucke.

    Cheers!

  • I wish there were Doctor Who cosplayers at Az! I love that show. British TV is the best! If I were to see someone dressed as the Doctor, I'd glomp him on the spot.

  • Well I attempted to make a Dalek last sumer and had great fun with the process. The result was however not quite to scale, I had to respect door widths and the fact that I'm 6'-4'' two issues that don't really factor in when working on a soundstage. Great fun nonetheless and the Masquerade at SFX last year was one great success. I deffinitly want to rework him and the new Cybermen are totally on my to do list but sadly 2006 is a bad year for me to attempt costumes (stupid dentists). I guess i'll have to Ninja :japan:

  • I'm really starting to love Dr Who, especially the new one, myself. I was thinking about trying to make a costume, but there aren't a lot of "larger" characters in the new Dr Who except the Slitheen(sp?), and that would be a VERY difficult costume.

Yes, it is. Check it out. :) www.casamai.com/fred.html.

If you ever get a wild hair to do one, here's the place to go to learn. Wish I had had these guys around when I did mine. www.dalekcity.co.uk
