    I'm still rather confused with the whole comic backs thing o.o
    I read the other posts up there but I still dont really understand what they are, so er... are they acctually cardboard? like the cardboard you'd find in packing boxes or something thinner? I might just go to the comic store and see if they know

    I'm not American and dont have a comic book store within about 90 miles.

  • if you in a spot use cearal box board not quite as nice asa comic back but it would do the job

  • First post, I actually signed up looking for exactly this for Halloween. Do you reckon you could make the base mask out of papermache and build it up from there?
    Just wondering because it seems like bending it into shape is a bit awkward, not tried it yet but it just strikes me that way.

    And for those who were talking about the half-mask business, just use the same method to create the lower jaw. It's smaller, so it won't be as hard.
