Mello's Pants.

  • For those of you that know the chocoholic blonde, you know his distinct sense of fashion, and his obvious affinity for leather.

I've looked around in biker stores and through eBay, but I haven't been able to find an accurate pair of leather pants. :lost: Would I be better off making them myself, or is there a certain place where I could buy them?

    Thanks to any help.~

  • You're better off making them yourself. You probably won't be able to find pants with the right kind of lace-up front and the perfect fit for you in a store. Working with leather (or faux leather) can be hard if you've never done it before, but a spot-on Mello cosplay is so worth it.

If you do end up making the pants yourself, let us know how it goes! I'll probably be doing the same thing.

  • Juliapop, you post everywhere I lurk. xD I love you.

Anyway~ just today, actually, I bought a pair of fifty dollar leather pants. They came up to about my navel (much to high for Mello), had button and zipper front, and where a teensy bit too small on me.
But! With the help of my wonderful mum, we found a tailor to bring them to. I explained to the seamstress what exactly I needed (apparently her kid cosplays too. Who would've thought it? xD ) and she can pretty much pwn the pants into Mello awesomeness.

I haven't gotten them back yet, but I feel really good about it. She already had them shortened to exactly where I'd like them when I was there.
I'm saying that my best bet was to go and get someone professional to alter nice leather pants. It could totally work for you, if you can find some pants and a seamstress.
