Okay, so here's an old makeup test for my Mangle gijinka cosplay. Thing is, that's not my actual lip shape. I winged the upper lip out a tiny bit- think Joker but less so- and filled in the edges of my bottom lip with the white facepaint. That worked fine for a brief makeup test, but smudged as soon as I moved my mouth.
I need a badass lipstick that won't transfer in the slightest (or at least doesn't transfer too terribly if I'm careful with it.) It needs to be pure red, but blue tones are better than orange. I have a $25 Sephora gift card, but if I can find something cheaper I'm down. I know liquid lipsticks are probably my best bet, but what brand and from what company?

I've never tried their reds, but I have a purple liquid lipstick from ColourPop that's pretty good. It's drying, but reviews tend to say that the shade I have is one of the most drying of their line. I've literally slept in the stuff with zero issues (I was out at a late movie and was too tired to scrub my lips when I got home, so I removed my eye makeup and called it a night), and it was pretty much perfect the next morning. It's also only $6, and if you sign up for their email list, you can get a coupon that basically nets you free shipping.

I've also heard good things about Kat Von D's liquid lipstick line, which should be available at Sephora.

Outlaw by Kat Von D is my go to for a red that stays put. Liquid lipsticks, like the ones me and fabrickind are suggesting, are going to be drying no matter what. So whichever formula you choose, make sure you exfoliate your lips and apply a good lip balm before wearing (I like to apply it before putting on my makeup and wipe it off just before applying the lipstick) and after you take it off.

I second ColourPop's Ultra Matte lipsticks! They stay on with no transfer, except for the inner bits of your mouth, but that's very little. HOWEVER, do not trust their product photos! Look for swatches on Google of the specific colors.

Those do seem like my best option. Thanks everyone!
