Hey everyone I'm trying to cover the cap of an eva sneaker I am making but I'm not sure how I need to do it would 1/16 neoprene rubber (not fabric) work or is there something else someone could recommend

You are making whole shoes out of EVA foam? Are they going to be worn?
That sounds challenging.

white pad on toe upper

or like this [url][/url]
"gold" hard toe cap (decorative, possible stub protection, no safety)

and what effect, and properties are you hoping for?
apearance, scuff shield, form of protection etc

also not sure how well eva will hold up as a shoe, (meaning wearing it around)
probably fine as a costume piece though
