Mystery of the frizzy wigs

  • Hi, I moved down to Mexico more than a year ago, and since then I've been having a very strange problem. My wigs have been getting frizzy like crazy on their own! Even left alone on a stand, they start turning into a frizzy mess! I can't figure it out. I've tried everything, and the only thing that seems to help is detangler, but I have to keep applying it to them, and I still don't know what's been causing it in the first place! I keep them them out of direct sunlight and obvious things like that, but it still happens! It's very weird.

The part of Mexico I live in is very dry and high elevation (6000ft) maybe that has something to do with it? I never had this problem when I lived in the states. There, a wig would stay the same as long as I didn't wear it.

  • sounds like a static problem due to where you live. Have you tried wiping them down with dryer sheets to remove some of the static?

  • Nope, but I will try it. Thanks!
