I know how to dye little things that fit into my pot. But I want to dye the bottom of a gown and it is polyester organza so I have to use boiling water to dye it. Is there any other way I can get an ombre effect on something like that or is there another way to dye it? Thank you!~

My friend who dyes yarn in large quantity uses those big rectangular electric cookers. Because it plugs in, you could feasibly use it on the back patio on the ground, provided the pot itself is big enough.
