Doing Sora with real hair.

Hey guys, there seems to be a lot of KHII Sora action going on, and I figured that I may as well make a tutorial and help out anybody who needs it.

For Sora hair you'll want to start with short, layered hair. The longest I've been able to do is Shoulder length, and then I was nearly six feet tall with those spikes! XD

Thise is my hair (Maybe about a centimeter longer):[link]

Here are the styling products that I use: [link] Got2B glued styling glue; Garnier Fructis XXL volumizing spray; Special FX molding wax; Aquanet hairspray and a teasing comb Oh, and you will most definatly need a blowdryer.

1) Start with damp hair, take your volumizing spray and spray the roots of your hair all over. Then, take a small amount of you hair glue and just run it all over the hair. Then, take your blow dryer and tip you head upside-down, blow-drying it up there. I recommend running you comb through your hair as you do this: that glue clumps sometimes.
At this point, part your hair the way that you want it parted (on the left side) and tease your roots slightly in the direction that you want the hair to go (Up on the top, horizontally on the sides). At this point, your hair may look like this: [link] [link]
Not like Sora yet? Well then, let's move on.

2) At this point you're going to start thinking about the spikes, I style my hair around three spike, one on the top, to the right of the part, and one on either side. [link] Take your hair wax, and make these three spikes, being sure that they're in their own little 'sections', so that you won't be able to pull away hair from those spikes, which will only mess them up. After this, start making your bangs and other spikes with the hair wax, it's alright if your spikes 'split' at this point in the game, this is only a guide for your glue.
And don't forget the one big spike in the back. After you've waxed ([link] [link]) move on to the next step.

3) Now you get to play with your glue! For this step I would most definatly (Mo def, if you will) keep two wash cloths nearby; one damp and one dry, just so you can wash up your hands. Take your glue and squirt some into your hands, mushing it around a little bit so that it's all over your hands (At this point your friends may start to call you-mine always happen to call when I'm wrist-deep in glue), then, starting from the roots, cover each spike with it. be sure to get every one right up to the tip, your spikes will 'splinter' if you don't get the tips well enough! Be sure to twist the tips just a bit, too. It helps them stay together. Once you've done that ([link]), you can move on.

4) This is my favorite step; HAIRSPRAY! Wipe the glue off of your hands and whip out your can of hairspray, it can take a lot, but I get three or four sora-ings, one Roxas-ing, two Paine-ings, and a few Kyuu-just-for-fun-ings out of one can of aquanet. Yeah, pretty cool. You'll want to spray each spike with light layers of hairspray, blowdrying after each one, and after the initial layer you can pay special attention to each spike, spraying small portions each time and blow drying those so that you get nice, stiff spikes. After you do that (which can take a good twenty minutes), I suggest you do the bangs last. Put down your blow dryer and put your hands under your bangs, covering your precious eyes (aquanet+eyes=pain). Spray, pick up blow dryer and repeat, it's hard, but it's best if you don't want hairspray in your eyes. After this, do one last spray-over and one last blow dry.

On splintering spikes: If your spikes start to "splinter", or come apart at the tips, all you need to do is take a dollop of you hair glue and use it to twist the tip of the spike back into the place, hairspray, blow dry, and it should be fine.

Try to keep some hairspray with you at a con for touch-ups.

No, well, I styled my hair leik Sora's to kill some time, but it looked like death- as usual. This is my head after the shower. I guess we can't all be as talented as you x3; I LOVE your hair by the way- my favorite picture was the frizzed up one <33.

The forces of evil (commonly known as the Canal) seperate our hair from achieving ultimate Sora-dom! Beh. Mine is too long to begin with. I tried doing Sora once, but it didn't work too well.

Nah, I had some fun, soft fabric in the bottom of m basket, so I used that. I want to die now though because I didn't realize until I was finished that the fabric was too light. . ,_,;
