Eep! Roy is going to be a speaker at my school's anime club next week!(I think next week, or the one after that, not sure.) He's going to talk to us about conventions and how you go about starting one, etc. ^.^ The entire club is also getting free tickets to Amano's world! I'm so happy! =D But I got a VIP ticket so I'm paying anyways. x_X

Just got my VIP ticket, too. I got paranoid after reading there would only be 120, so I spazzed on my friends so we could all order them right away. Now I gotta find a way to make some quick cash so I can pay them back and get started on my costume (what's wrong with me?! Why haven't I started?! *sobs*)

I'm really glad to know I'm not the only one that hasn't started yet. The book with the design I want to use is packed with the rest of my worldly possessions a state away. I won't get any of it until Sept 1 when I move... so I probably won't even get to start my work until the 2nd or third week of september if you consider the unpacking to find the book, figuring out where the stores are to buy materials, etc etc etc...

Hey, just wondering about something. I know if you have a VIP pass you get to sit in a reserved section or something at big events right? So can only VIP members sit there, or can VIP members bring a friend who doesn't have a VIP pass to sit there with them? I'm guessing the answer is no, but what do I have to lose by asking.

This is reallllyy convicent for me, since I just started on my amano aeris. Now I actually have a convention to set deadlines for my costume. Wow this is amazing! I'm really exicited about this. ^^; And if I have enough money after I finish making aeris ( I have about half of all the materials I need) then I am going to make Starlet from Final Fantasy VI. ^_^ Last edited by SaltySlippers : 08-20-2006 at 05:30 PM. |
