ok I'm not acutally going to be cosplaying either of those characters but doing something that requires that bat like pattern on tights. What I was wondering is if anyone has made them successfully before or knows of ways to go about it.

well get a pair of tights that u want 2 use and cut out the bat shapes or pattern (basically make a stencel), wrap ur legs in sran wrap and put the tights on over them, then (you prolly need someone 2 help u with this) tape the stencel in the appropleiat areas then take acrilic paint in an air brush, spray paint, or even a bottle of paint and a paintbrush and paint in the stencels. It works great! but make sure u do the saran wrap part or else you will get paint all over your skin and it will NOT come off for a while, also make sure you are not standing next to a spance heater it will melt the plastic to the tights. This method always works for me so good luck, also you have to wear the tights until they are dry so you dont get paint strech marks!
