MegaCon 2013
It's six months out, so I figured it's time to start a thread! What is everyone planning for 2013? I'm still figuring out my plans, but I do know I'll be wearing Maetel from Galaxy Express 999 for sure. The convention is being held in March again next year, which is good because it gives us cosplayers more time to prep!

Yay, someone finally made a thread for this! ^ w ^
I'm still sorting out plans but one cosplay i'm pretty sure on is Hikaru from Ouran, I found a Kaoru and i'm pretty sure a Haruhi. We are trying to get a whole group together, ( So if anyone's interested, eh eh. ;3) But anyway other than that I want to reach for something bigger, something more difficult, something. . . It'll come to me. I'm just really excited for this year! |

You remind me of how much I miss cosplaying from Ouran! I still want to make Haruhi's dress from the ending of the manga.
 Someday, maybe!For Mega I'm starting to entertain the idea of finally making Harle from Chrono Cross. I have some friends working on the costume and it reminds me of how much I've always wanted to cosplay her, too - for the past five years or so, actually. Love the inspiration that comes from cosplaying.

Yeah right now i'm having a hard time deciding on a costume. I have all these crazy ideas floating in my head. x3 I'm still trying to decide between Rachel Alucard from BlazBlue or Pyrrha Omega from Soul Calibur. I'll probably come up with a decision after Shadocon. |

I guess the best way to ward off post-Dragon*Con funk is to start prepping for MegaCon?
I'll definitely be making some room on my schedule for small-group and individual photoshoots, though maybe it's a bit early to make a specific schedule now. Maybe I'll scout some locations next time I'm over in Orlando.

I'll post now since it's also a way for us to remember what we are doing instead of changing our mind and adding more things to our list. Me and my Boyfriend will be going all three days as Juliet and Nick from Lollipop Chainsaw on Saturday and Victor and Emily with Scraps from Corpse Bride on Sunday. Friday might be Kiki's Delivery Service, Kat from Gravity Rush, or normal clothes day.
I'm so excited to see all of you and will bring a camera this time to take pictures of everyone.

So I've been away from the cosplay/convention community for about 4 years now and am feeling nostalgic and hoping to attend this upcoming Megacon. I'm not sure I'm ever gonna go back to extravagant cosplays, but simple stuff I think my wallet and conscious can handle lol.
So, I love Eden of the East and am planning on cosplaying as Saki Morimi. Anyone interested in an EOTE group? =) It'd be awesome to have an Akira.

I bought the fabric for Harle yesterday, and I guess that means I am now committed to making the costume. Hopefully it will be done in time for Megacon! I want to make my boyfriend a Karsh costume (also from Chrono Cross) but I may focus more on getting his Captain Harlock together to go with my Maetel. We'll see. It's around that time when a lot of cosplayers are starting to prepare for Megacon, I hope everyone has fun making their costumes and good luck!

Nightwing from Young Justice on Saturday - still gotta finish, and I only have 87 cents on my card. And if I stay for Sunday, Peter Pan for the Disney meet!
