I recently heard that the Masquerade Ball will last 2.5 hours. At least it's .5 hour longer which is a "slight" improvement but I personally feel like it's too short and might alienate the half of the people who wanted to show up at the ball. Also heads up that the dance lesson is only 1 hour? If I were you please show up at the dance lesson and then line up just in case!

Hmm that seems really short..lol Idk..Never been to one so it's all good idc..I HAVE to go to the lessons..I have NO clue what I'm doing anyway lol

How long does it generally take to get INTO the ball?

It all depends how long the line is. Might take 30 minutes or 1 depending on how crowded it gets base on my calculation. I lined up very early to prevent this to me.

I was just reading the dress code and I had a question about that. Does it have to be a cocktail dress or cocktail like dress? My friend wants to go as Bell from Beauty and the Beast (or one of those princesses) But if her dress will get denied for being too puffy and not cocktail-esque then I'll need to tell her to stop working on it.

Also, what about head dresses?

Our dress code is our minimum, because we've come to understand that from years of running this event and attending, that people prefer a semi-formal dress code.

But, you and your friends are very welcome to go further than the dress code outlines.

Headdresses? I don't think we've ever encountered that. Feel free to e-mail us an image.

Traditionally the Masquerade Ball is on Friday evening.

I will definitely be going, I'm cosplaying as Maka Albarn from Soul Eater in her Black blood room attire. =] I think they're really fun, but that's just me. I dance a lot during con's, and try to attend every single one I can find haha.
