first costume iv ever made.
just looking to see what feedback id get. this is my first costume iv ever made. its princess sakura from tsubasa. i normally just make my props but last year i got scamed on a costume that i realllly wanted so i decided this year id try makeing my own costume. (yay for more motavation to do so) i love tsubasa and this dress seemd to be pretty easy to make. start small and build up, right?
although id love to make those amazing costumes with the correct materials at the moment i do only use recycable item (im very green) im majoring into theater work so when i get all those pre-class's done i can take the costuming class and learn much more. anywho here are some pictures of the dress. i cant show my weapon completed cause its still in peice's.

oh i forgot to add because my manicain is soooo old i had to pin my dress back abit. i noticed on some of my pic.'s it looks bunched up on the side. thats because of the way i have it pind on the manicain

I'd be proud to make this, it look really nice. I do have a question, though, how are you planning on making the cape (?) stay up? Will you pin it, or just have it stay up using your body's stance?
I think making your own costume is much better, and this is a gazillion times more sucessful than my first homemade cosplay. On thing to keep in mind about Sakura, though, the hair is really imporant, and don't be afraid to style the life out of that wig. Also, you may want to try and include that headress... But, anyway, this looks great.

the cape was all free hand. so when i was cutting out the red band i was making sure the the bottom was tight enough that it would stay on my shoulders the hole time. and yea my wing just came in so i plan to start styling that vary soon. i do have the necklace made which you dont see and also the head peaice aswell.

Way better than I could ever do, the only costume that I came close to "making" was my World Is Mine cosplay, and all I really did was alter a dress. xD But this is wonderful, great job! ^^
