Youmacon 2011 Jrock & Lolita gathering

So, I know this is a bit early, but I always plan gatherings a bit in advance.
This will be my second Youmacon, since I just moved back to MI from CA.

At AX, the big convention in California, I have been arranging the Lolita and visual kei gatherings for three years.

I hope there Will be more Jrock cosplayers this year. I attended as Hizaki from Versailles, and I was very happy to see all the lolitas there, and that one Jrock booth (I know the cashier dude; he remembered me and was happy to see me XDDD).
Though, the only other Jrock cosplayer I saw was a Bou.

So, I hope we can get a lot of lolitas and Jrock cosplayers!

Why is there a gathering of both Lolita and Jrock together?

Even though lolita isn't cosplay, it is still somewhat "similar" to Jrock. Also there are probably not enough Jrock cosplayers to just have a gathering alone; with lolitas, it will be Much bigger.

What will we do?

Group photos, games, treats to bring and eat, and a chance to meet new people.

My friend and I are planning on doing Gardenia Mana and Klaha this year. I'm also a lolita so depending on the day it's arranged, I'd make an effort to show up either as Mana or probably in Angelic Pretty.

thank Gackt!! I was really hoping that someone would bring this up...actually I'm going to be doing my Uruha from Gazette cosplay this year

and I'll have my own Aoi with me as well! I dont really get how Jrock isnt more talked about at Youma...to me its a pretty big part of cons. I do know that there will be another Aoi there besides the one Ill be with and another Mana as well

Burton, that would be awesome! I use to cosplay Mana but I've never seen Malice cosplayers in person before. And I loveeee Klaha's Gardenia outfit so much.

4ever, that would be awesome also! I know @_@ Last year I only saw one other Jrock cosplayer or something.
